another perfect day
I was having my usual beauty sleep today when all of a sudden, my phone was ringing with “ryan cabrera’s-true” ringing tone.. I woke up with a startle… then I groggily squinted towards my clock.. damn… it was only 9.30a.m… and I was cursing at that whoever that called me at the wee hours of the morning…because people like me only get my ass out of my bed at 12pm…haha.. anyway.. when I answered the phone…..it came to my knowledge that it was actually my mum at the other end of the receiver. If it was some freako who called me just to tell me that they've called the wrong person… I would definitely have screamed my head off…and I suppose none of my friends would be calling me at this hour of the day as they know that I’m a night owl..where I tend to be more lively at night.. …unless it was an emergency of some sort. Anyways.......my mum was on her way to her office when her car broke down,, and my dad was in johor baru to handle a court case. So, she called me and asked me to go and pick her up. So I groggily dragged myself out of the bed and changed and washed up in lighting speed and dashed to where my mum and the car were. We waited till the mechanic came and then I sent my mum to her office. The mechanic took a whole damn hour to get to us… and it was not like it was that hard to locate us… my mum’s car broke down right infront of the manipal medical college. You won’t miss a landmark such as that right? All in all…there’s only one sentence to sum that incident up. “What a way to start my day”!! haha...I’ve recently acquired a ring. It is not any ordinary ring. No.. it’s not my engagement ring either…..this ring might be small in size but it sure carries a lot of fond memories with it. Most of my close friends should know that my paternal grandma passed away last year. I’m not trying to get solemn here. So hear me out ok…well, we, her grandchildren, inherited RM400 each from her. It might not be a lump sum but who the heck cares. It’s the thought that counts. So anyway, my parents advised us to get something memorable. So, we’ve decided to get something from the goldsmith’s shop. You know…..a place where you can get stuff like bracelets, rings, pendants… etc…since I’ve lots of pendants and I hardly use bracelets.. I decided to get a ring instead. So after scouting around, I found my ideal ring. It’s within the budget of course and I only paid RM160 for it. My bro, andre bought the same ring and my other 2 bros bought crucifix pendants each. This ring is very special as it has the word “grandma-21.04.04” engraved at the back of it. So, that way… we’ll forever remember our dearest grandma…… haha…o one more thing… if you guys that I frequently hang out with, are observant enough, you guys should be able to see the ring on my middle finger, left hand..hehe
After watching the highly anticipated American idol season 4 finale, which I know was quite some time ago, I just couldn't help it but to give my reviews on the past seasons’ American idol winners. As we all know, the American idol, first season's winner is Kelly Clarkson. In my humble opinion, she’s by far the most successful and the best idol. She has churned out great songs like, "The Trouble With Love Is", "Miss Independent", and "beautiful disaster" from her THANKFUL album and "Breakaway", "Since U've Been Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes" from her sophomore album. plus, kelly co-wrote her songs as well. Her first runner up… Justin gurlianni or something is nowhere to be seen or heard. Sad case.
Then came the second season. The winner is ruben studdard!! Oh my goodness!! How can someone like him being crowned the American idol.. I’m not racist and I’m not against fat people cozz I’m fat as well.. haha. I mean just look at him… he doesnt even have the idol or the "IT" look. He was partially a disgrace.. to mankind…. Man….this sums it up.. Americans generally have bad taste for music. Besides, his 1st single "sorry 2004" sucks!! I mean come on.. who is sane enough to compose a song such as that and to name a song "sorry 2004". the song is plain horrible and below par. I’m sure his albums are not selling that well. His 1st runner up, clay aiken is a much better singer. He might not be good looking but his vocals are much, much stronger. He has hits like "invincible", the way, mary did u know, and solitaire. and i'm sure he's album is selling quite well.
Then came the third season. The winner of this season is of course none other than Fantasia Barrino. She might have strong vocal abilities but i find her voice a little too squeaky. And her songs are good for only the first listen. Coz.. her voice might tend to get a little irritating and annoying after a while. i've not comments or whatsoever for diana degarmo...i guess i'll just leave her alone. haha...There are 2 people in the 3rd season that are not to be forgotten. They are John Peter Lewis or better known as JPL. He's cute and charming as well. He has a great voice and he's a good dancer too. I especially love his rendition of "Jail house Rock". he sounded exactly like elvis presley. haha. Then of course there's John Stevens... totally love his red hair.. and he has a cool voice and soothing voice...albeit his voice could be a little flat and boring sometimes. Anyhow, i still like him though...
Then came the fourth season of the American Idol. The champ was of course, Miss. Carrie Underwood. She has a great voice and strong vocal abilities. Most guys might even find her attractive...LOL.... She is a great country singer and i think she should stick to that as that's her genre. Bo bice is of course the ultimate rocker.....Anthony Federov has a great voice as well... and he's kinda cute too.... ok i'm so sick of craping about this right now. so let's move on to our very own Malaysian Idol.
Jaclyn Victor is our very first Malaysian Idol. She's a powerful singer. Vic sucks!! Besides, he's also damn ugly and even with his make up.. he's still ugly...He ruined LINkin park's song "numb" when he did a rendition of it during the rock week. The worst part was that, he even tried to dress and act like chester bennington.... In his dreams man.... chester is way much better than him. chester rocks! Vic sucks!! Andrew is another sucky singer. He has a lame and boring and monotonous voice. oo... And whoever is or are the participants' fashion co-ordinators or designers ought to be shot!! And those fashion designers are supposedly internationally famous for their fashion designs. Actually, they made all the participants looked like fools when the so called acclaimed fashion designers dressed the participants in horrendous outfits. The fat... looked fatter and the short.. shorter... well you guys get the idea..
ok...all said about the idols...
O and the reason why i couldn't blog that frequently was because it's the school holidays and my bros were hogging the damn computer!! so.. i'll be back with more.. later.... hopefully tonight..

I’m not a Studdard supporter but like what simon says..it’s the likeability factor. Probably he has it, who knows and maybe Americans can see that beyond his size and look. Plus we din get to watch American Idol 2 on tv so we can’t judge the book by its cover.

Hmmm are you indirectly trying to make me unleash my Sith power?? Hmrp! You have the freedom of speech, even to condemn anybody in the world, but hey if you can’t even spell a person’s name correctly (it’s VICK btw), then I guess you should cut down in ur criticism man haha. And by the way, this was what vick said before. He mentioned that nobody can be or sing as good as their idols coz they’re still learning… La la la :p By the way, I’m very sure that somebody said Vick is cool at the prom, ahem entah siapa la hor~

anyways.... yeah.. i might have mentioned that vick looked cool that night.. BUT that opinion of mine was judged from afar..... u know...and plus it was kinda dark in that room so i couldnt really see his face clearly... BUT once i went up closer to him.... GOSH!!! he's not that cool and not that good looking as i thought he is. and to me he's still so uncool.... haha... and the spelling error for ur beloved VICK.... i apologize.... see....i just couldnt be bothered to get his name right!! haha... just kidding pal.
and i do believe that VICK dressed himself that night.... cozz what he wore that night was even way beyond the fashion designers' horrendous outfits. what is even worse than horrendous....* ponder* haha.... and i guess he was just trying to look cool... and trust me... cOOL is not the word to describe VICK!!
haha..... hey dont take what i've said here too seriously ok.. u should know and realize by now that i'm a professional bullcrapper!! haha
