POOL MANIA!!!
My 23rd birthday celebration was a bLAST!! My birthday is on the 9th of November and it fell on a Thursday. I reported to work as usual and acted like normal… assuming that no one knew that it was my birthday… I was quite touched and almost got a little emotional when my colleagues in my department celebrated my birthday for me. I didn’t expect them to know when my birthday was.. so… it was really nice of them to actually remember…. I have yet to treat them something in return….. but I seriously plan to do so though… Even my human resource manager personally wished me “Happy birthday” how cool was that? …it truly caught me by surprise! Then, I went for a birthday dinner with my family at AMIGO…. The food was just mediocre though……after that I headed to Asia Havana to meet up with my colleagues.. and I received a SUPERb birthday present when I got there… my damned car key broke when I turned the key to lock my car door…… and part of the key is still stuck at the door till today…One of my colleagues was so kind enough to bring me home to get the spare key and drove me back there to get my car… I was so grateful for his kind gesture. Hehhee. So, till today I have to climb in from the passenger side and slide over to the driver side… cool huh….
Anyway, I had a BBQ birthday party on Saturday and the food was great and I had a great time entertaining my friends…
Then on Sunday, me and my colleagues went to gunung Ledang…..the trip was fun and the dip and swim in the waterfall was truly refreshing….
Then came Monday, the day every working class people dreaded the most.. and I experienced the worse Monday blues ever…. Due to the late partying on Saturday and the waterfall trip on Sunday… I was dead tired…
Anyway, nowadays me and a few other close colleagues hang out quite often together… so much so… that we even have special days on certain days of the week. Tuesdays are usually our badminton and a visit to chelas for dinner day, Thursdays would be our steamboat and a drinking session at Café Guan (this has been a norm) day, besides, the drinks there are good and on Fridays are usually our pool day….. in fact, this week itself we had played pool TWICE!!…. which consists of 2 hours per session…… We played on Thursday and Saturday. Cool huh? I wasn’t really into playing pool… but I am kinda getting a hang of it now… Roman is a good pool partner and coach as well…. Heehe…. You guys should get the idea….. NO… there is no body rubbing involved…. We are good kids……ahhahha.. I was supposed to join them for another drinking session on Friday but knowing that if I were to hang out till wee hours in the morning for 2 to 3 days in a row… it would not be such a great idea…..my parents would be pissed…..So,,.. I would need to space out and plan my hanging out sessions.. hahaa. As I was driving to Klebang to meet up with my colleagues for dinner today….i was stuck in a horrible half hour jam due to the flooded road around the Manipal college area…. I was stuck there for a whole 30 minutes…. Damn it…We had frogs for dinner, though I must admit that frogs are just not my cup of tea…later we headed to… where else… to play POOL…. Why am I not surprise…..and later to Café Guan AGAIN!! We went there twice this week itself!!!!
