Singapore....

my singapore trip with my family had been a blast. Whatmore can I say about Singapore.... it's a great country. i have been there tonnes of times but I just couldnt get enough of the living environment there. The streets are clean, the neighbourhoods are quiet, cosy and peaceful. Everywhere is not overcrowded unlike in Malaysia. They actually stop for the pedestrians to cross at the zebra crossings.... malaysians will drive even faster and dont even bother to stop for pedestrians to cross. It usually happens the other way around.... to be more exact. Jaywalking is seriously forbidden. I might seriously consider working in Singapore if opportunity comes my way.......

Anyway on the first day of the trip we visited the Singapore Science Center.. this is totally a must visit place for science geeks and non science geeks.... I love science and the wonder of science never fails to marvel me.....I love the whys and hows.. .. so science rocks!

I saw a mini documentary there on how sharks were being pulled out of their watery abode and their fins being cruelly and digustingly sliced and hacked off, while they were still ALIVE and KICKING and you could actually feel their pain and you could see them struggling to get free from cruel and fucked up men..... and their heads were almost severed in the process and after that.. they were thrown back into the sea to die.... I solemnly swear I'll never touch a shark fin soup again!!! I am actually not sorry at all when sharks counter attack humans.... i dont blame them at all!!!!,

after that we headed to Night Safari..... it's a great hang out place if you love animals....

on the second day we headed to wild wet park... the wet park was disapointing with very, very few rides and so we headed to the dry park instead. The roller coaster rides are kinda kiddish and lame... usually I would shut my eyes on super scary rollercoaster rides.... but , i even managed to hold my hands up high in the air....The pirate ship was like for kids 12 and below.... muhaaha.. then later I had fun racing through go kart tracks on a go kart. There are two tracks.... the amateur and novice ones.... It was a blast. That night we headed to orchard Road to do some shopping and to enjoy the nice christmas decorations.

I went to watch DEJAVU with budz yesterday, it was a great movie I must say.. I totally love the time machine... it's so cool..... Denzel washington rocks! Today was the final prayers for my late maternal grandmother. It was the 100th day of her passing.... I still do miss her alot.... Every single thing I see and do reminds me of her..... I dont know why i am still finding it hard to let go and move on....maybe I just couldnt forget how much she loves me and vice versa. the sucky working week has arrived once again! damn!

Ah ha! Another person who's not gonna eat shark's fin soup again. We should get everyone to visit the science centre. I stopped eating after watching a similar clip too. Although the documentary wouldn't affect every person who watches it, at least it has enough effect to make a few people stop eating shark's fin soup.

yea.... it's damn bloody cruel of us to be doing that to our beloved underwater predators who has been on this earth way longer than us human beings and there we are happily treading on their home and territory and killing them so brutally... it's like some bad guys breaking into our houses and killing our family members brutally....

People must be aware of the process of getting those fins to stop wanting those fins...

If The buying stops.... the killing will too!!!!!

save our sharks!!!!!!
