damned night safari is closed today.
Yy and gang came to my house and picked me up at 9 p.m. today (21.01.07).. Our intended destination: THE NIGHT SAFARI!
So there we were all psyched up about the trip and clutching our cameras with every intention to take pictures of the animals there only to be disappointed upon our arrival that the bloody night safari is only opened on fridays, saturdays and public holidays..... (NOT INCLUSIVE OF SUNDAYS).... bloody hell.... so we headed to non other....... Cafe guan where we chatted till about 12a.m. and we headed home..... So, looks like our night safari trip has to be postponed.... Ben actually suggested that we climb across the fence to get in and I told him that, it wasnt the best idea around as we could actually, unintentionally, climbed into the lion's den and we would be it's supper...ahahha.
O, by the way, we are given a day's off tomorrow (22.01.07), a monday, by our company to celebrate some stuff though I think it's Awal muharram or something..... But i am quite sure that many other companies in Malacca is open..... hhahaaha.... the privilege of working in Contraves.... holidays are given based on my boss's preference... cool aint it..
The new season of the American Idol is once again here.... and you could actually see people from all walks of life ... from the weirdest to the most idiotic person, from the cutest to the most vulgar from the most..... you get the idea.... just get your lazy ass away from your computer chair and tune in to catch the American Idol. It's aired on every wednesdays and Thursdays, on Astro's channel 70, from 8pm to 10 pm or on 8tv on every fridays at 9.30pm to 11.30pm and Saturdays from 10.30 pm. to 12.30 pm......

just a little of this and that
last friday me and my fellow colleagues went for our dance rehearsal at the renaissance. To our astonishment, most of our dance moves are also highly used in other groups' dance. So, after that day, we then decided that we need a major revamp in our dance routines so that it would stand out from the rest on the actual day. I must really say this, my friend, Ashwin, can really dance!!! He was damn good at strutting his Indian dance moves.. which i must say totally left me in awe.
O, by the way, I have finally fixed my car door and I can finally get into the driver seat the normal way instead of sliding in from the passenger side which I had been doing for the past 2 and a half months simply because I was busy and simply because I was too lazy to send my car to the workshop to get the broken half of my car key removed from the door. I was so used to sliding in from the passenger side that even when I finally got the key removed, i still slide in from the passenger side!! ahha... weird huh.. Just the other day I cut my hand while I was sliding out of my car..... sheesh....when I told my colleagues that I finally fixed my car door.... they were actually pretty impressed that I could withstand having to slide in and out
of my car for such a long period of time. hahaa
my work life has been very, very hectic, I must say. Every single day I will be in my office till around 9p.m....... Which means that I am in my office for around 13 hours......... freaking hell......
O, i have one question for the guys...
HOw do you tell a guy that his fly is open without embarassing him and vice versa? ( I, myself was caught in this sticky situation for numerous times and I didnt have the guts to inform the guy)
Because for all I know, the guy would be wondering why on earth am I staring at his crotch in the first place?? hahhahahha

painful blisters under my feet
yesterday I hanged out for like 10 and a half hours straight. Pretty crazy huh? Let me see, I went for my dance practice, I hanged out with my friends and later I went for a drink at Cafe Guan with my colleagues. ehhee. I was quite suprised that my parents were kinda cool about it.
Anyway, on last sunday, after we had said our goodbyes at the KLIA airport, we were actually supposed to head to one utama. Because my colleague who was driving was not very sure about the route to ONE Utama, so he joked that the worst thing that could happen was that we might actually end up in Genting Highlands instead of our designated destination. Suddenly everyone in the van was suggesting and agreeing that we should just head to genting instead. So off we went... to Genting.... Well.. driving up to genting in an old company's rusa (the van) was quite a breath taking experience, if I must say. The van swayed quite violently and to take everyone's mind of the swaying, I started screaming " i want my mummy!!" which managed to get everyone laughing their heads off. So, while we were there, the weather was very pleasant, it was very foggy and cold... and I loved it. My colleagues went to the casino and they lost 900 bucks in like 4 hours!! the curse of Uncle Lim strikes again!!Me and Ben (the new swiss guy) ventured on our own, with this, I had managed to get to know him better. We had wanted to go on the outdoor roller coaster rides but due to the bad foggy, wet and misty condition all the rides were closed. Damn!
last tuesday, during my badminton session, as I was playing a net shot, I somehow knew that the opponent will smash that shot because she was already there in front at the net,so as I just somehow reacted and turned away, she smashed real hard straight into my face... My whole right side of the face turned red and it hurt like hell!!! bloody hell... To forget about the pain, I focused on the funny side about it..... so I ended up laughing again... so typical... I guess my socks were kinda loose and I tied my shoes a little too tight that day, so as a result of that, I went home with painful and large blisters under both feet.
My smart ass of a brother, Aaron lost my digital camera's memory card when he took it with him when he went to Sabah with his friends, so gone are my precious pictures in that camera. I made him buy a new memory card for me but the pictures and the memories that came with them, are forever lost and will never be found.

I have been very busy lately. I am given a new project to handle which means that I'll have more work to do and less free time, well, it's not that I have any free time though. This whole work itself i was busy hanging out with my colleagues because this week is Roman's last week in Malaysia. We went to Bei Zhan on Wednesday and later went for a 2 hour game of pool, we went to cafe guan on Friday and today itself we went to Pak Putra for some Roti Naan and later we headed to Cafe guan again. Tomorrow morning we will be heading to KLIA to send Roman off. We'll be departing from Malacca at 0630 hours. It's really sad to send a friend who has grown very close to me and my other colleagues off and mostlikely we'll only be seeing each other again in 5 to 10 years time or the worst case scenario..... never. I am going to give him a big hug tomorrow. I have been pretty busy practising my dance for the company's annual dinner as well. I am going to catch 40 winks now as I have to be up and about at 5.15 a.m.
