spooky

Last night, at around 1 a.m. I was watching tv in the tv room, when all of a sudden the phone in the room rang. Here’s the conversation:

Me: Hello?

Stranger ( an old woman): Asked in mandarin, “what is the time now”

I was a little surprised that she asked me that and…

Me: May I know who do you want to speak to?

Stranger ( an old woman): May I know what time is it (she repeated 3 to 4 times) in a row….

I thought it was my mum on the line because she always intercom me and asked me to go to bed as it was late. But it didn’t sound like my mum at all…. And most of all, I find it extremely weird for somebody to call at 1 o’clock in the morning asking for the time….

And then I freaked out a little, you know, now being the hungry ghost month… and stuff and I just muttered a quick : “ sorry, I think you have gotten the wrong number” and slammed down the phone….

The phone rang again and I refused to answer. After that I unplucked my house phone, and I told myself, if the phone did ring again, I would definitely freak out and screamed……..Fortunately, the phone stopped ringing in the tv room but it rang in the next room.. I had it! I sprinted upstairs to my parents bedroom to relay what had just happened.

My mum said that I shouldnt have stayed up so late to watch tv as that was usually the time when the “ghosts”would come out to play……My reply was, “but I thought you said our house is blessed and safe”??!! hmm……

My mum said that maybe it was my late grandmother but I don’t think so because I would definitely recognize her voice when I hear it.

I was so spooked by it that I am literally frightened. When I went downstairs to get myself a glass of water, I actually brought my rosary along. Talk about being paranoid! Hey blame it on my excessive reading of horror story books and too much horror movies.

I tried to be reasonable and logical by consoling myself that ghosts don’t exist and that the phone call was indeed a wrong number dialed but something about it is very freaky and strange………

What do guys reckon??

Spooky eyy…..

i hate blood suckers!!

Today, I went to jusco to buy my top up card for my phone, and I parked my car at the side of jusco instead of inside jusco as there was no parking space inside. As I returned to my car, I saw a piece of paper flapping at my windscreen and when I took it, it was a bloody fine from the MPMBB folks. Bloody hell, those bloody idiots moved at lightning speed when they are hungry for some quick cash. Ok, yea I know that it’s my own fault for not putting the parking coupon when I parked there but I assumed that it was ok for me not to put the coupon as I would be in there only for a short while and now I am paying the price for not doing so with a hefty compound of bloody 30 bucks. So I went to the booth with every intention to settle the fine ASAP and get on with my life and the lady told me that the office was closed and if I were to pay now I have to pay 30 bucks and if I were to pay at the office I only have to pay 15 bucks!!!! Bloody blood suckers!! Hmm it’s amazing that these bloody people don’t fine their own kind when they simply double parked their cars on the roads to get food for their open fast…….ironic aint it??

great week

Last Sunday, my family and I sent my bro, aaron to the KLIA airport as he would be departing to India to pursue a degree in Medicine. I would not be seeing him for another 4 months, so yea, definitely I would be missing that guy.. : p

This week itself had been a great week because I only worked for 2 days this week. I was on leave on Monday, reported to work on Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday was a public holiday in Malacca in conjunction with the 1st day of the fasting month and my company shutdown on Friday to do some rewiring in my entire company. Cool. Eyyy… Plus I’ll be having an entire week off during the raya celebrations. Man, I love my company…… but then again… we would have to minus it from our annual leave so after all this, I am left with negative 0.5 day of leave remaining. SERIOUS!! How sad could that be?? ahhaa

On Wednesday, me and a few of my colleagues headed to sushi king for dinner at jusco as they were having this special promotion on their sushi. Every sushi costs us only 2 bucks…. So basically it was quite cheap….We queued up for about 1 hour to get in. I only managed to eat 6 plates of sushi and if I were to take in more, I swear, I would puke as sushi tastes a little disgusting after a while…. Hehee
